Join our Community Packing Day
Saturday 12 December 2026
Join us on Saturday, 12 December at John Paul College, Daisy Hill for a wonderful day of giving back to our community.
Together, we’ll ensure our baskets of food and presents are sorted, wrapped, and ready for delivery by our volunteer drivers on Sunday, 13 December — spreading joy and kindness to families and individuals across greater Brisbane who might be doing it tough this Christmas.
Families Welcome
We welcome children to our packing weekend (it is Christmas after all) and we want to make sure that they also get to experience the joy of giving back at Christmas.
If you are bringing a minor they MUST hold a valid ticket in their own name. To register a ticket for a minor please ensure that you complete the First Name section of the ticket to include your name as guardian/parent for (e.g. John Smith as parent/guardian for Jayne) and then complete the child’s last name in the last name field.
Deliveries
If you’d like to deliver to an outer Brisbane zone, limited baskets will be available for collection when you leave on Saturday — please select this option when registering. To deliver to other areas, please check the Community Volunteer Driver programs in our December newsletter for sign-up details.
General Volunteer Sessions
This year, all volunteers will register as General Packing Day Volunteers. Each session runs for 2 hours, and you could be involved in:
• Wrapping and sorting gifts
• Sorting food and packing food bags
• Assembling and decorating gift boxes
• Preparing boxes for delivery
